6. Select “Add App” to add the Google channel. At the top right click “Add sales channel”

### 1. Company profiles
In Shopify B2B, [companies](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/b2b/companies) are the business to business customers that you have assigned a company profile to.

With this feature, you can create a list of wholesale company profiles and add up to 50 locations per company. Each location can be customized to have separate price lists, payment terms, checkout options, and shipping addresses. This means that your B2B customers can log-in to your store, select the location they are purchasing for, and receive the prices, payment terms and shipping options that have been set up for that location, creating a curated experience for both buyer and seller.

### 3. Payment Terms
One of the most important parts of a commerce transaction is knowing when, and how, you’re going to be paid for your product. [Payment terms](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/b2b/payment-terms) lets you set up the length of time a company has to pay for their order. This powerful feature is fully automated, meaning you can assign payment terms, sort and collect payment in the most efficient way possible by tracking data in your admin.

Each company location can be assigned a payment term. Currently, there are two payment options: none and net. None is the default payment term, whereby customers pay at checkout. Net is a flexible payment term, allowing your B2B customers to pay anytime between when the order is placed, and the due date that you have set. The available terms are net 7, net 15, net 30, net 60, and net 90.

### 4. Checkout and Self-Serve
If your Shopify Plus wholesale store is configured for both B2B and DTC, your customers will have different accounts in your online store. B2B clients will be prompted to login with their B2B account. From there, they can view the company and location information in their account, see wholesale price lists, and place and review their B2B orders. 

The self-serve option will allow customers to manage aspects of their account on the buyer-side. Here, they can track their orders, and filter by date, order number, and status. B2B customers can also select the company location they are buying for, and edit buyer information.

You can set how your B2B clients access their accounts, depending on your needs. Options include updating your online store settings, sharing the login with your B2B customers directly or via a welcome email, and manually adding the URL to your online store nav.

### 5. VAT validation for EU businesses
If your B2B company is based in the EU, you need to be knowledgeable about VAT regulations and how to set up Shopify tax rules for B2B wholesale customers in the EU. VAT rules differ depending on who you sell to, and in which EU country, as well as the amount of sales you process in that particular country. Further, within your country, jurisdiction rules will deem some B2B transactions tax-free. For these B2B purchases companies must provide an exemption letter. 

Rules for tax-exempt should be configured the right way at checkout. To do this, you can set up a VAT validation API to the checkout of your Shopify store. ### 6. Managing B2B Customers
As the store owner, Shopify B2B wholesale provides you with tools to manage your B2B customers and how they can interact with your store. You control the customer permissions: You can select the company locations a customer will have access to, and add and delete customers from your store. Currently, a maximum of 10 customers can be assigned to each company location. 

When a B2B customer logs in with a new customer account, they will be emailed a verification code. This extra layer of security ensures B2B buyers are authenticated before they can view wholesale products, pricing, and place and track orders, ensuring that your sensitive information remains with the customer authorized to see it.

### 7. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software integration
Many large-scale B2B companies that onboard Shopify Plus B2B already have enterprise resource planning (ERP) software in place to organize product information, control inventory and track orders. Integrating this with other platforms, such as Shopify, can prove difficult and time-consuming for a business.

## B2B Wholesale: The difference between blended and dedicated stores

When setting up your B2B store on Shopify, you will need to decide whether you want to open a blended or a dedicated store. Both have advantages and disadvantages, so it’s important to choose the one that is best for your commerce needs.

**Blended:** A blended store accepts both B2B and DTC orders. B2B customers must log-in and be authenticated via their B2B account to access wholesale pricing, products and checkout. This type of online store is good if you are looking to keep things simple: Data and information can be managed through one dashboard for both B2B and DTC, saving time and minimizing effort. 

The downside of a blended store is that many features can’t be segmented, and will apply to both B2B and DTC customers. For example, B2B and DTC will have the same online store experience; if you activate gift cards both B2B and DTC customers can use them, and shipping options and rates will be the same. A blended store is a good solution if you don’t need different settings for your B2B and DTC customers. If you do, a dedicated store may be a better solution.

**Dedicated:** This is a separate online storefront used only by your B2B clients, allowing you to create a custom buying experience that is detached from your DTC store. With a dedicated store, you can set up unique B2B discount codes, notifications, themes, gift cards, shipping and rates. You can also pull analytics specific to your B2B customer base. 

The benefit of a dedicated store is that you can clearly segment your business data and customer experience between your B2B and DTC online stores. The downside is that it is more work to set up and maintain: You will need to [create a new store](https://www.digifist.com/en/help-center/contact-us), manage the B2B and DTC stores separately, and retrieve independent data for both stores. A dedicated store is a good choice if you need to differentiate between your customer bases.

Once you've registered a Google account create a Google Analytics 4 account. Now you’re ready to move to Step 2: Create a Google Analytics 4 property.

### 4. Checkout en self-service
Als je Shopify Plus-groothandel is geconfigureerd voor zowel B2B als B2C, kunnen je klanten verschillende soorten accounts hebben in je webwinkel. B2B-klanten krijgen de optie in te loggen met hun B2B-account. ### 5. Btw-controle voor bedrijven binnen de EU
Als je B2B-onderneming gevestigd is in de EU, moet je kennis hebben van de btw-regels en moet je weten hoe je de Shopify-belastingregels moet instellen voor B2B-klanten binnen de EU. De btw-regels hangen af van aan wie je verkoopt, in welk EU-land, en van de hoeveelheid verkopen die je binnen dat specifieke land verwerkt. Verder zullen er binnen je land bepaalde B2B-transacties vrijgesteld zijn van btw. Voor deze B2B-aankopen moeten bedrijven een ontheffing kunnen overleggen.

De regels voor btw-vrijstelling moeten goed zijn ingesteld voor de checkout. Hiertoe kun je een btw-controle-API configureren en koppelen aan de checkout van je webshop. Er kan eenvoudig een externe API voor btw-controle voor aankopen binnen de EU worden gekoppeld aan elk aanpasbaar veld op de checkout-pagina. Hierdoor voeg je een extra beveiligingslaag toe om fraude te voorkomen.

### 6. B2B-klanten beheren
Als webwinkel-eigenaar krijg je van Shopify B2B Wholesale de tools in handen om je B2B-klanten te beheren en te bepalen hoe ze jouw webwinkel kunnen gebruiken. ## B2B Wholesale: Het verschil tussen blended en dedicated winkels.
Wanneer je je B2B-webshop met Shopify aan het opzetten bent, moet je beslissen of je een blended of dedicated winkel wilt. Bij een blended winkel verkoop je zowel aan zakelijke als aan particuliere klanten, bij een dedicated winkel kies je voor één klanttype. Beide soorten hebben voor- en nadelen, dus het is belangrijk dat je het winkeltype kiest dat het best aansluit bij de behoeften van jouw onderneming.

**Blended**: Bij een blended winkel accepteer je zowel B2B- als B2C-bestellingen. Als je wel verschillende instellingen nodig hebt, is een dedicated winkel een betere oplossing.

**Dedicted**: Een dedicated winkel houdt in dat je een aparte webwinkel inricht voor je B2B-klanten. Zo kun je je B2B-klanten een op maat gemaakte winkelervaring bieden die losstaat van je B2C-webshop. Met een dedicated store kun je gebruik maken van unieke B2B-kortingscodes, meldingen, cadeaubonnen, verzendopties en tarieven. Ook kun je analytics ophalen die specifiek gebaseerd zijn op je B2B-klantbasis.

Het voordeel van een dedicated store is dat je de gegevens van je beide klantgroepen apart kunt bekijken en dat je beide klantgroepen een eigen winkelervaring kunt bieden. Het nadeel is dat het meer tijd kost: Je moet een extra webshop opzetten en onderhouden, de B2B- en B2C-webshops apart beheren, en voor beide webshops data ophalen en analyseren. Een dedicated winkel is een goede keuze als je je verschillende klantgroepen wilt kunnen onderscheiden.

## Shopify B2B versus Shopify Plus Wholesale Channel
Met Shopify B2B heb je meer mogelijkheden om te personaliseren dan met het groothandelskanaal van Shopify Plus. We zien Shopify B2B dan ook als de toekomst van de groothandel op Shopify. B2B op Shopify is rechtstreeks ingebouwd in het Shopify-beheercentrum. Dat betekent dat de krachtigste tools en functies die beschikbaar zijn voor je B2C-webshop ook kunnen worden ingezet voor B2B. One of the first metrics business owners try to improve to increase revenue is average order value. Pretty logical: the more a person spends per order, the more money you make. However, most people often buy only what he or she is looking for.
In this article, we'll teach you how to increase your average order value through some strategies.

## What is your average order value?
Average order value is the average amount a customer spends on an order. You can calculate it simply by dividing your store's total revenue by the number of orders placed. Keep in mind that this does not take into account marketing costs. For example: if your store has a total revenue of €3500 divided by 100 orders, this means that the average customer spends €35 per purchase with you. 

### 1. Create an order minimum for "free shipping" or other gifts
This is the most common but very effective and easy way to increase your average order value. To calculate your order minimum, take your average order value and increase it by 30%. Eg: if your average order value is €50, with a 30% increase, it becomes €65. You can use this new figure to offer free shipping on orders over €65. With apps from the Shopify App Store you can easily add notifications when customers checkout and have not reached their order minimum for free shipping, this notification can help you increase your average order value.

A variation on free shipping is to offer a fixed discount for orders over a certain amount. For example, you can offer a 10% discount or coupon for purchases over €75, 15% if you spend €100, etc. Very effective, but it makes your profits less predictable.

### 2. Bundle products or create packages
Offering bundle deals to your customers can greatly affect your average order value. For example, one such offer could be buy three and get a fourth free, or buy two and get a free gift. With bundle deals, make sure that you choose gifts that don't affect your margins too much (think of a $3 necklace, for example) and that you price your products so that you can cover the cost of the "fourth free". So try to put together bundles that cost less than if these items were sold individually. 

### 3. Up- or cross-selling of complementary products.
Cross-selling is offering an item that a customer may like that matches the product they are currently looking at or want to buy. For example, if your customer is looking at a coat, you might have a handbag to match it. An idea for cross-selling is to add all the products the model in the image is wearing to your featured products; you have a greater chance of selling a combination if the customer sees multiple items together.
Up-selling is when you encourage customers to buy more expensive items from the same category. This also applies to upgrades. For example, if your customer wants to buy an iPhone with a 32GB capacity, suggest a model with a 64GB or 128GB capacity. An effective way to upsell products is to sell more of the same product. For example, if your customer buys a coffee machine, suggest buying coffee beans with it.

Add to your webshop is a way to help customers and an opportunity to increase your average order value.

However, don't overdo it in your offer, no one likes to feel like they are being oversold. Your upsells should be sincere and useful, so hand-pick items that best match the products in the customer's cart. To increase the likelihood of purchase, offer inexpensive upsells. If someone wants to buy between €50 and €100 worth of products, it's hard to convince them to spend an additional €100, you're better off convincing them to add a €20 product that matches their purchase.

Vrij logisch: hoe meer een persoon uitgeeft per bestelling, hoe meer geld je verdient. De meeste mensen kopen echter vaak alleen datgene waarnaar hij of zij op zoek is. In dit artikel leren we je aan de hand van enkele strategieën hoe je de gemiddelde bestelwaarde kunt verhogen.

## Wat is de gemiddelde bestelwaarde?
De gemiddelde bestelwaarde is het gemiddelde bedrag dat een klant uitgeeft bij een bestelling. Dit kan je simpelweg berekenen door de totale opbrengst van jouw winkel te delen door het aantal geplaatste bestellingen. Houd er rekening mee dat hierbij geen rekening wordt gehouden met marketingkosten. Bijvoorbeeld: als jouw winkel een totale omzet heeft van €3500, verdeeld over 100 bestellingen, dan betekent dit dat de gemiddelde klant bij jou €35 uitgeeft per aankoop.

### 1. Creëer een bestelminimum voor “gratis verzending” of andere geschenken
Dit is de meest voorkomende maar een zeer effectieve en eenvoudige manier om je gemiddelde bestelwaarde te verhogen. Om je bestelminimum te berekenen, neem je de gemiddelde bestelwaarde en verhoog je deze met 30%. Bijvoorbeeld: als jouw gemiddelde bestelwaarde €50 bedraagt, met een verhoging van 30%, wordt dit €65. Dit nieuwe getal kan je gebruiken om gratis verzending aan te bieden bij bestellingen vanaf €65. Met apps uit de Shopify App Store kan je makkelijk meldingen toevoegen wanneer klanten afrekenen en hun bestelminimum voor gratis verzending niet hebben bereikt, deze melding kan je helpen je gemiddelde bestelwaarde te verhogen.

Een variatie op gratis verzending is het aanbieden van een vaste korting voor bestellingen boven een bepaald bedrag. Eén van die aanbiedingen kan bijvoorbeeld een koop drie en krijg een vierde gratis zijn, of koop twee en ontvang een gratis geschenk. Zorg er bij bundeldeals wel voor dat je geschenken kiest die niet te veel invloed hebben op je marges (denk bijvoorbeeld aan een halsketting van €3) en dat je de producten zo prijst dat je de kosten van het “vierde gratis stuk” kunt dekken. Tracht dus bundels samen te stellen die minder kosten dan wanneer deze artikelen afzonderlijk verkocht zouden worden.

### 3. Up- of cross-selling van aanvullende producten
Cross-selling is een item dat een klant leuk kan vinden aanbieden. Het cross-selling product past bij het product dat ze op dat moment bekijken of willen kopen. Kijkt je klant bijvoorbeeld naar een jas, dan heb je misschien een handtas of een sjaal die erbij past. Een idee voor cross-selling is om alle producten die het model in de afbeelding draagt toe te voegen aan je aanbevolen producten, je hebt een grotere kans tot het verkopen van een combinatie als de klant meerdere items samen ziet. 

Up-selling is wanneer je klanten aanmoedigt om duurdere artikelen uit dezelfde categorie te kopen. Dit geldt ook voor upgrades. Als je klant bijvoorbeeld een iPhone wilt kopen met een capaciteit van 32GB, stel dan een model voor met een capaciteit van 64GB of 128GB. Een effectieve manier om producten te upsellen, is door meer van hetzelfde product te verkopen. Als je klant bijvoorbeeld een koffiemachine koopt, stel dan voor om er koffiebonen bij te kopen.

Overdrijf echter niet in je aanbod, niemand houdt ervan om het gevoel te hebben dat er te veel aan hem wordt verkocht. Je upsells moeten oprecht en nuttig zijn, kies daarom met handmatig items die het beste passen bij de producten in de winkelwagen van de klant. Om de kans op aankoop te vergroten, bied je goedkope upsells aan. Als iemand tussen de €50 en €100 aan producten wilt kopen, is het moeilijk om ze te overtuigen om nog eens €100 extra te spenderen, je kan de klant beter overtuigen een product van €20 toe te voegen dat bij de aankoop past.

4.	Klik op "Shopify" en selecteer dan "Doorgaan".
5.	Klik op "Ga naar Shopify". Shopify wordt geopend in een nieuw tabblad. Zorg ervoor dat je bent ingelogd op Shopify.
6.	Selecteer "App toevoegen" om het Google kanaal toe te voegen. Klik rechtsboven op "Verkoopkanaal toevoegen".
7.	Selecteer "Connect Google account" en log in op hetzelfde Google account dat je YouTube kanaal beheert. Vul alle winkelvereisten in op de volgende pagina.
8.	Verbind je Shopify verkoopaccount, of maak een nieuw account aan als je dit niet hebt. Je wordt dan gevraagd om je telefoongegevens in te voeren en je identiteit te verifiëren via een sms. Deze twee-factor authenticatie waarborgt je veiligheid. Ga akkoord met de Servicevoorwaarden en selecteer "Installatie voltooien".

Vanaf hier kan je je producten synchroniseren met YouTube. Klik onder het volgende onderdeel op 'Aan de slag'. Bevestig dat je kanaal voldoet aan de Shopify YouTube kwalificatie-eisen en klik op "Doorgaan". Selecteer je YouTube kanaal uit het drop-down menu, ga akkoord met de Gebruiksvoorwaarden en klik op "Set up voltooien". Gefeliciteerd, je bent klaar om te verkopen op YouTube!

Twee van de populairste oplossingen voor e-commerce-ondernemingen zijn Shopify Plus en Adobe Commerce Magento. In dit artikel vergelijken we Shopify Plus en Magento met elkaar. ## Overzicht van de platforms
Shopify Plus en Adobe Commerce Magento behoren allebei tot de beste keuzes voor commerciële start-ups en groeiende ondernemingen. Beide platforms hebben veel features en worden gebruikt door grote e-commercemerken. Wat is de beste keuze, Magento of Shopify?
 
Shopify Plus is een gebruikersvriendelijk SaaS-product (Software as a Service) met een uitgebreide set tools waarmee je je online onderneming kunt opbouwen, uitbreiden en laten groeien. Shopify Plus is een gehost platform dat gebruik maakt van Ruby on Rails (Liquid). Het wordt regelmatig en automatisch geüpdatet met aanpasbare thema's en geïntegreerde API’s, en omvat mogelijkheden op bedrijfsniveau voor B2C en B2B. Daarmee voorziet Shopify in de behoefte van hoogwaardige, snelgroeiende merchants die op zoek zijn naar een e-commerce-oplossing voor de lange termijn. Veel bekende merken zoals Allbirds, Heinz en Gymshark maken gebruik van Shopify Plus.
 
Magento 2 is een open-source e-commerce-oplossing van Adobe. Je kunt kiezen uit twee versies: Adobe Commerce, een optie die draait op je eigen server; en Adobe Commerce Cloud, een hosted platform-versie. Magento is een platform-based service (PaaS) en maakt gebruik van PHP op Zend Framework. Magento biedt een grote flexibiliteit en kan op zeer veel punten worden aangepast, waarbij de kern van de programmacode behouden blijft. Omdat het open-source is, moet Magento regelmatig worden bijgewerkt met updates. Ook is Magento hierdoor complexer in gebruik dan Shopify Plus. Colgate, Nespresso en Ford zijn enkele bedrijven die gebruik maken van Magento.

## Shopify Plus en Magento vergelijken
We bekijken de belangrijkste verschillen tussen Magento en Shopify om je te helpen bepalen welke van de twee de beste investering is voor jouw onderneming. Magento en Shopify Plus hebben allebei hun voor- en nadelen, maar uit de cijfers blijkt dat Shopify onder merchants de populairdere keuze is. Uit onderzoek dat in 2022 is uitgevoerd door SimilarTech blijkt bij een onderlinge vergelijking dat er 543.364 live websites draaien op Shopify, en 93.278 op Magento. Wat maakt Shopify de meer gekozen optie? 

### 1. Gebruiksgemak
Shopify Plus is veel eenvoudiger in gebruik dan Magento. Dit is aantrekkelijk voor merchants die zich volledig willen richten op hun onderneming zonder bezig te zijn met het programmeren van hun website. Met Shopify Plus krijg je toegang tot vele prachtige, responsieve thema’s die je volledig kunt aanpassen aan je wensen. Zo bouw je de webshop van je dromen, zonder dat je veel kennis van programmeren nodig hebt. Het beheercentrum is gebruikersvriendelijk, zodat je eenvoudig aanpassingen kunt doorvoeren - zoals het toevoegen van producten - of een medewerker kunt opleiden om dat te doen.
 
Met Magento Commerce moet je heel wat meer leren voor je het kunt gebruiken. Omdat het een open-source platform is, is het veel ingewikkelder in gebruik dan Shopify. Waarschijnlijk zul je een ervaren Magento-ontwikkelaar in de arm moeten nemen om je webshop te bouwen, en om regelmatig onderhoud te plegen wanneer je winkel eenmaal draait. Hierdoor kan het lastig zijn om je webshop met Magento helemaal zo in te richten als je in je hoofd hebt. Ook is het niet zo makkelijk om updates te doen naarmate je onderneming groeit.

### 2. Veiligheidsupdates en patches
Ook wanneer we de veiligheidsupdates en patches voor Shopify Plus en Magento vergelijken, komt Shopify als beste uit de bus. Zoals we al eerder schreven, is Shopify Plus een SaaS-oplossing, terwijl Adobe Commerce open-source is. Shopify pusht updates automatisch naar hun systeem. Dat is geweldig voor zowel merchants als shoppers, omdat iedereen er gerust op kan zijn dat het systeem altijd veilig is. En omdat deze updates automatisch plaatsvinden, loop je nooit risico dat je webshop opeens platligt omdat je een onderhoudsmoment hebt gemist.
 
Magento 2 is open-source. Vanuit het oogpunt van de techniek is dat interessant, omdat dat betekent dat het een robuust platform is dat voortdurend wordt bijgewerkt. Dit voordeel kan echter ook een nadeel zijn voor jou als verkoper, omdat het de betrouwbaarheid kan beïnvloeden en bovendien prijzig kan zijn om te onderhouden. Voor merchants die hoge volumes verkopen is het onderhoud van Magento vaak een dagelijks terugkerende taak. Het regelmatig moeten installeren van patches, complexe hosting, hoge ontwikkelkosten en lange doorlooptijden zijn enkele van de belangrijkste nadelen. Updates kunnen plotseling worden doorgevoerd. Dat betekent dat je site zomaar kan uitvallen, mogelijk zelfs tijdens drukke verkoopmomenten, of dat aanpassingen die je met veel moeite hebt geprogrammeerd het na een upgrade niet meer doen. Kortom: wanneer je de voorkeur geeft aan Magento boven Shopify Plus, moet je erop rekenen dat je veel meer tijd en moeite kwijt bent aan het onderhoud van je webshop.

### 3. Toevoegen van nieuwe functionaliteiten

Net als bij upgrades aan je website zul je voor het toevoegen van nieuwe functionaliteiten waarschijnlijk een Magento-programmeur nodig hebben om de nieuwe functionaliteit lokaal te installeren, naar de server te pushen, te testen en ten slotte uit te rollen. Dat kost je tijd en geld.

### 4. Thema's
Thema’s zijn belangrijk omdat ze bepalend zijn voor de ‘look & feel’ van je webshop. Shopify heeft meer dan 100 thema's, elk met een andere stijl en opmaak. Elk thema kan voor verschillende soorten gebruik worden aangepast, zonder dat je daarvoor de code hoeft aan te passen. Hierdoor zijn de Shopify-thema’s bijzonder gebruiksvriendelijk. De thema’s zien er zowel op desktop als op mobiele apparaten geweldig uit. Dat is belangrijk, want uit onderzoek is gebleken dat 80% van de smartphonegebruikers in de afgelopen 6 maanden een aankoop in een webshop heeft gedaan. Hoewel er enkele gratis thema's beschikbaar zijn, is het een nadeel van Shopify dat je voor de meeste thema’s moet betalen. De prijs varieert van $ 140 - 350 USD. 
 
Magento heeft ook een geweldig aanbod aan thema's waar je uit kunt kiezen. Kant-en-klare thema’s die niet aangepast hoeven worden, kosten gemiddeld ongeveer 100 USD. Als je echter een op maat gemaakt thema wilt, moet je diep in de buidel tasten: een op maat gemaakt thema kost tussen de $ 600 en 45.000 USD.

 
### 5. Marketing
Je hebt een geweldige webshop gebouwd. Nu moeten je klanten je nog vinden! Effectieve marketing is van essentieel belang voor het succes van je onderneming en de ontwikkeling van je merk. Shopify begrijpt dit als geen ander en biedt een verzameling marketingopties waar Adobe Magento niet aan kan tippen. Ook hier blijkt Shopify de betere, meest grondige oplossing voor e-commerce.
 
Als Shopify-merchant beschik je over verschillende marketingopties. Zo kun je rechtstreeks verkopen op social media-sites zoals Instagram en Facebook, kun je gebruik maken van meertalige marketing om verschillende doelgroepen te bereiken, en staan er Customer Engagement-tools voor je klaar. En het mooiste is dat je al deze marketingtools eenvoudig kunt gebruiken door simpelweg een app te installeren. De Shopify App Store is altijd up-to-date en erg veilig in vergelijking met Magento.
 
Magento biedt ook wel marketingtools, maar die zijn minder geavanceerd en niet zo eenvoudig in het gebruik. Op Marketplace zijn meer opties te vinden, maar om die te integreren zul je waarschijnlijk een back-end-programmeur nodig hebben die bekend is met Magento. 
 
### 6. Technical Debt
Onder technical debt, oftewel ‘technische schuld’, verstaan we de kosten die op termijn ontstaan doordat we herstelwerkzaamheden moeten verrichten omdat we oorspronkelijk een te beperkte oplossing hebben gekozen. Een betere oplossing zou initieel wellicht meer tijd kosten, maar op lange termijn tijd en geld besparen. Vergeleken met Shopify moet Magento veel vaker worden aangepast en bijgewerkt. Daarom is de technical debt van bedrijven die met Magento werken veel groter.
 
De snelle iteratie van de open source-code van Magento 2 betekent dat er voortdurend updates worden uitgebracht, en in veel gevallen zul je een ontwikkelaar of programmeur nodig hebben om die te installeren. Als je updates niet snel genoeg verwerkt, loop je het risico dat je webshop vastloopt, wat er weer toe leidt dat je minder verkoopt en dat je klanttraject wordt verstoord. Met Shopify heb je geen last van deze technical debt: het is eenvoudiger, makkelijker in gebruik, en updates worden automatisch verwerkt. Als je webshop eenmaal in de lucht is, zul je dus minder vaak last hebben van storingen en downtime.
 
### 7. Prijzen
Bij het vergelijken van Shopify Plus vs Magento 2 zijn de rechtstreekse softwarekosten vergelijkbaar, vooral wanneer je de kosten voor het verwerken van betalingen meetelt.
