What’s included with my theme purchase?

To see all of the available fonts, see Shopify's font library. Click the name of the font that you want to use. Alternatively, can also upload custom fonts. This is not supported out of the box and you should contact your web developer for implementing a custom font to your online store.

Can I add other custom fonts?

Yes, our theme support 3D models & video's. In addition to images, merchants can upload 3D models and videos, and attach YouTube or Vimeo videos as product media. This gives merchants the opportunity to offer a rich and immersive product experience. 

Can I add video and 3D images to my product pages?

When you sell to multiple countries or regions, your customers can view prices in your store, pay for their orders at checkout, and receive refunds in their local currency. You can choose to have prices converted automatically using the current market exchange rate, or converted manually using an exchange rate that you choose.

Depending on your Shopify plan, you can use international pricing features to control prices for different countries and regions. If your store is on the Shopify plan or higher, then you can set price adjustments and custom rounding rules for different countries or regions. To set product prices by country or region, your store needs to be on the Shopify Advanced plan.

If you're selling in multiple currencies, then you can add a country selector to your theme so that customers can select their local country or region so that your store displays their local currency.

Can customers checkout in a different currency?

Accelerated checkout buttons are only presented to customers in the storefront or checkout, not both. For example, if the accelerated checkout buttons are added to the cart template and the customer visits the cart before checkout, then the buttons won't be shown to the customer again. If you want to ensure that the accelerated checkout buttons appear in the checkout, then you shouldn't add them anywhere else in the storefront. Because the buttons are currently displayed in the cart page, then it is expected behavior that the buttons do not appear on the Checkout page. If you want the buttons to appear on the Checkout page instead of the cart page, you should disable this feature.

Before you customize your theme, you need to know what level of support is available. If you are making simple modifications and an existing functionality is not clear enough from our documentation, you can get support from us. If you want to add new features to the theme, then, this is not supported (for free). You can always submit a feature request if you think our theme is missing features that can help you improve your store.

What does the Sahara Support team cover?

It’s vital to strike a balance between images that are large enough so users can zoom in and those that are an optimum size so they don't take up too much space and slow down your page load times. 

On Shopify, you can upload images of up to 4472 x 4472 px with a file size of up to 20 MB. But the website builder typically recommends using 2048 x 2048 px for square product photos. These are high-resolution images that give your store a professional and well-rounded look with great zoom capabilities. Keep in mind that for zoom functionality to work your images have to be more than 800 x 800 px.

Similarly, Amazon and Etsy, have a 1000 x 1000 px image requirement to enable zooming.

To maintain a uniform look along your product line and on your collection pages, you should keep the width and height aspect ratio of all your feature images the same. For example, you might make them all square like we see below.

What size do my images need to be?

Sahara doesn't include the infinite scroll at the moment, however, this is something we've been working towards.
We've recently released a new pagination option that can be found inside Customizer > Default collection page > Template > Collection > Pagination style

This gives you the option to switch from the "Load more" style to "Page numbers"

Does Sahara have infinite scroll?

Release

Release is a fast theme but no, we do not support speed issues – This is a larger subject that will be covered in an article in our documentation, however, customizing the theme is based on choice, vison and personal prefferences (it is your business after all). That said, regardless of the speed optimizations we make, there can always be cases where the speed can drop due to this, and our team will only be able to offer you suggestions on how to improve, in such cases. 

Do you support speed issues?

**No **- Release has gone through a lengthy testing process made by Shopify developers before it received the approval to be launched. This includes compatibility with the majority of apps available within Shopify.

Does Release have any restrictions on the use of apps?

**No** – By default, the theme doesn’t include an option where you can install your own font and use it within the theme. Our theme does include a multitude of font-related features, but as for the actual fonts, they are from the Shopify’s Fonts Library. That said, we recommend you try and find an alternative font from the same font family that does exist within the theme, rather than trying to add your own font. 

Can I add my own font?

**No **– The update process is easy to follow, as all you have to do is to press a couple of buttons and a copy of the latest version that includes your previous theme’s customizations will be added to your store’s Themes Library. You can then preview the updated theme and publish it if everything’s in order with it.

Do I have to re-customize the theme every time you bring an update to it?

You can leave a positive review by going to the theme’s landing page > click on reviews, and then on “Write a review”. Please note that you will also have to be logged in your Shopify account for this.

How can I leave a positive review?

**Yes** – the theme is only in its initial stages, and we’ll be constantly working on bringing amazing features, bug fixes, and general improvements to the theme.

Will the theme be updated in the future?

**Yes **– Changing the theme’s code can interfere with the update. In the cases where the update cannot be performed due to the code changes, you will no longer see the option to update the theme. In the case where the previous code change doesn’t interfere with the update, your theme will be updated, but it will not include the custom-coding you’ve performed. 

Will I lose the custom-coding that my developers made to the theme if I want to update?

**No** - The theme’s price is fixed, and discounts cannot be offered as we’re exclusively selling the theme via the Shopify Themes Store.

Can you offer me a discount on the theme’s price?

The theme is translation ready via the “Translate and Adapt” app

Can Release have multiple languages?

**Yes** – with the pre-condition that you activate the currencies within your Shopify backend.

Does Release Support multiple currencies?

**No **– Due to the number of requests our support can only be contacted via the ticketing system.
